COMMISSION MURAL ART

Cacti

The Bringing Illustration to Life concept has extended to interior and exterior design.

Minerva has developed numerous commissioned works, transforming spaces with her original paintings for public and private locations.

A fusion of geometric abstract design and illustrative Australian flora and fauna has defined her unique style in stunning large scale artworks.

Minerva approached each location with a comprehensive study of the local environment, iconic characters and a relationship with the business logo where required. Colour and subjects are chosen to showcase the uniqueness of the client’s own setting.

Everything started from the stain glass window in the waiting room – a beautiful swimming turtle.

The Vet Clinic waiting room needed an uplift - some colour and movement that related to the characteristic of the location, and that didn’t represent the obvious patients (dog and cat paintings!).

‘Under the Sea’ was created to celebrate the versatility of the veterinary practice as well as her own creative sensibility.

The end result is a gorgeous, cheerful environment for clients, that took into consideration the placement of the furniture.

The concept design was developed on various surfaces (including brittle wall, mod wood and entrance door), seamlessly blending the natural landscaping and existing native flora and fauna. Mivart Creative extended the mural into the garden by integrating new natives in hollow wood ‘pots’ and beautiful rock arrangements.

The artworks not only guide your eye across the architecture and garden, they have superb visibility from the street – catching the curiosity of people passing by and welcoming to visitors.

The commission was completed using quality outdoor Dulux paint.

ANGLESEA: Private Swimming Pool Fence

A 6x2m outdoor wood fence has been the latest challenge for Minerva's commissioned mural work.

This project required different preparations and mediums to provide long lasting results outdoors.

The site specific design continues the form of the trees and incorporates branch extensions, creating an exquisite illusion. The galah birds are the main subject of this art piece, as well as the Sheoak tree and a
one of a kind wood garden sculpture /installation that compliments the elements of the site’s garden design.

The circle backdrops hug and centre the artwork, providing a focal point to interact
with the flight of the birds.

A deeper study of the colour palette for this mural was required to best relate the business logo and the location.

The king parrots and flourishing gumtrees are the subject of this commission work, located in the stunning Macedon Ranges.

Macedon Ranges Wholefoods wanted to create a sense of natural environment and cheerful company of the birds that are rare to this area.

Half of the shop is designed to invite people to walk in, grab a coffee and search for delicious organic products, while the other half is dedicated to relaxing in a seated area, a place to read a book or sketch while waiting for the holistic room to welcome you through.

AIREYS INLET: Onda Cafe

The majestic yellow tailed black cockatoo is the main character of this mural that also
features the native banksia tree, here on Wadawurrung Country.

A triangular geometric composition defines the style of the business logo while integrating natural elements to create an eye catching artwork for customers to enjoy. It also creates a point of discussion, and leave identifying the café with the artwork.

TORQUAY: High Vibes Surfcoast - Vegan Cafe/Restaurant

The commission of these beautiful painted mushrooms was requested by owner Giacomo, a passionate mushroom forager who runs a specialist grocery store, where yummy plant based food is cooked with love, including homemade pasta.

A white, funky design was the best way to bring more light to the space and welcome people in a natural environment that reflects the philosophy of the business.
